Another issue is accidental poisoning, where the person takes preparations containing paracetamol that they are unaware of ie lemsips etc etc, in addition to taking paracetamol tablets.
I thought the reason that Co-methiamol was not made the standard preparation was cost. Maybe they need to review this, as the cost is very high - both in human terms but also monetary
