Bloody hell.
And that's hardly the way to speak to anybody (until they lose your respect / right to dignified treatment through certain behaviours), especially people that are in a mental health unit, and are depersonalised enough as it is.
GRRRAH
Pardon me, also. Two of my closest friends are regular mental health unit patients, and their "treatment" disgusts me (and them).
The word "nurse" does not describe those people you were having to work alongside.
