Re: Why Mr Reynolds Was Fuming
by Mr Biscuits
That is a seriously tight sickness policy. Three instances in a 12 month period is nothing really, perhaps acceptable if you work is an office somewhere, but not for frontline crews who are exposed to anything and everything that presents itself in the back of an ambulance. It sounds preachy, but keep records of your sickness, if the worst does happen and you find yourself out of a job then i'm sure an employment tribuneral would take interest in it, because surely you can't be fired if you are actually sick, whatever the sickness policy? That said, I agree with Charge Nurse, it might just be time to think about somthing else. Your a bloody smart man, i'm sure people somewhere would pay you plenty of money to take your advice.
