This post punched me with my memories. Images I suppress. This story was my mother a few years ago. I'd never thought about her story from the perspective of the Ambulance crew. Or that it might be difficult emotions for them too. Or that they don't get any follow up. Nobody thought my mother would survive. Head injury - police already muttering "murder" on their radios. The ambulance were on the scene within maybe 5 minutes and that is a crucial part of the medical puzzle that saved her.
I hope this gentlemen makes it. And I can say thank you. Ours was a case where you, and folk like you, made that huge and wonderful difference.
