As you were a nurse and are now an EMT and from reading your blog it is obvious that you like helping people and having the contact with many different patients on a daily basis, are you possibly a bit concerned that you would miss that contact? (Not to mention the blood and guts and fast driving!) Having said that, you obviously love writing too, and are very good at it. What about a training officer post? Anyway, go with the flow and do what's best for you, I think you'll have still have a loyal following .
