I am absolutely FOR personal responsibility. Look, none of us had the greatest of lives coming up, or as young adults. We all made mistakes. The difference is, there ARE those of us who do NOT believe that we are ALLOWED to be irresponsible simply because life handed us lemons in some way. You are ultimately responsible for yourself and your own actions. Period, end of story. (Ok, I will make an exception for the truly mentally ill, but that's it.) You are only a victim if you allow yourself to become a victim. Bad things happen to good people. Make lemonade out of lemons.....you get the point.
