Agreed Cookie! When I was working as a care assistant last summer one of the ladies had an accident - she wasn't very mobile but could manage usually and so she was mortified. All it took to cheer her up was a hug and a promise that I wouldn't tell anyone beyond the nursing staff who would have to fill in a 'whoopsie' form. So like you Cookie, I think, sod the world, if they want a hug, I'll damn well give them one. Am looking forward to working there again this summer!
