I got told that I have high blood pressure by a fitness instructor at the gym because it was 131/97 - after my work out. When I didn't look suprised or concerned he advised me to see my GP - which had I not been aware that this wasn't a problem - could have scared the hell out of someone, getting them into a panic, causing their blood pressure to be high when they saw their GP..... I also love the little amusement gained from someone telling us HCPs that they have "blood pressure" with a serious but proud face....bless em!
