Exactly. The LAS do have teaching days and one of these is about Capacity and I agree that it is very interesting.
Essentially if someone who has Capacity wants to kill themselves there is nothing I can do about it.
These cards aren't binding in any way, although I suppose that their purpose is to point to the more formal document, which is something that I would suspect that most relatives would already know about.
But I'm afraid that someone waving this sort of card at me wouldn't be enough for me to stop CPR.
