I always used to carry a swiss army knife. I got my first knife when I was 10. My parents trusted that I would use it. Alot of my other friends had swis army style knifes too. We didn't go around stabbing each other, we would used it for sharpening pencils and messing around making dens and tree houses. I also carry a knife when ever I am at work or go kayaking. I've often go at a 4inch blade on me. But I know when to use it and I don't let kids see it or have it anywhere they could get hold of it.
