Re: What's In Your Pockets II
by Anonymous
I carry the same stuff everywhere I go, work or otherwise: Left thigh pocket: Loose change, handkerchief (mainly to tamp down on top of coins so they don't jingle) Right thigh pocket: Keys, lip balm Left cargo pocket: Usually empty, sometimes handkerchief (if I'm not carrying coins) or mp3 player and folding headphones Right cargo pocket: phone, sometimes pen or pencil. If I'm not carrying a shoulder bag, my book goes here and the phone's in the left cargo pocket. Right rear pocket: wallet I don't carry anything in my shirt or jacket pockets because my base clothing for a day is t-shirt and pants, with shirts and jackets changing as needed, so I don't want to put my keys in a BDU blouse pocket in the morning and then go out at night in an overcoat and lock myself out... If everything I need is in my pants and my bag, I just need to transfer it over when I change my pants, grab my bag, and go.
