Not wishing to defend their actions in anyway, but in some countries the age of consent is 12 (one even 9).
Even though we have our rules, is it right to expect someone who has been brought up in a different culture, possibly forcibly made to leave their country and sought sanctury in ours, to know all our rules and cultures?
