Both patients had been booked in to the system for their respective xray. When the first was called, they were not there, and being so close in name, the second patient answered. Patient error not computer error. Once in the room, so as to not blurt out patient name, date of birth and address in a packed waiting room, the other checks were done, and so the patient wasn't irradiated pointlessly.
