To all the people who suggest St Johns Wort, I've tried it in the past and (like major tranquillisers) has next to no effect on me. I do try the lightbox, although I'm not sure if that has much of an effect on me.
Perhaps I should just self administer ECT - that's supposed to work pretty well.
