I can't believe "the system" doesn't seem to take into account the huge internal blood loss there can be from a fracture like this. If that much claret was leaking on the floor it'd be a much higher priority, I'm sure. But no, of course it's not life threatening. It's not like little old ladies die from broken hips, do they?
