Nicely done. Reminds me a bit of when my Dad had his first major angina attact; Mum thought he'd "had a funny turn", my two younger sisters were hopeless. Thankfully Dad wasn't as bad as your patient though. I'm guessing the woman going on about the disco was just in denial, trying to tell herself it wasn't as bad as it looked rather than just simply clueless.
