I'm no lawyer, but in my mind and with my EMS specific education it comes down to a breach of trust. She was in a position of privilege as a healthcare provider and abused that privilege by sharing patient information (in this case images) without their expressed OR implied consent (I am assuming this, since I don't know this lady or the surroundings of her film being made). It's different to film someone in a PUBLIC place without their consent. I don't know what the specific laws are in the UK, but in the US this would be a massive breach of HIPAA. It's also good to think of this personally - being shown on national television in some nasty hospital in terrible physical shape in one of the most vulnerable moments in a patients life may not be what they would want...
