Perhaps Mr. Beardsley should also direct some of his ire at the 'care' home which allowed his mother to suffer 3 falls in one day? Also, I presume (dangerous, I know...) that if the Doctor thought that a 4-hour wait was acceptable in this case, then there were actually no serious injuries? And that the lady was quite comfortable waiting in her own bed.... not lying in the gutter bleeding, or in a heap at the bottom of the stairs with bone protruding from shin... or in a cold, empty bath, sitting in her own sh**, desperately waiting for someone to come because she can't reach the alarm cord. (All situations I've found patients in the past few months.)
