It seems that triaging over a telephone will never be correct and accurate. If this is the case, then the focus should have been on more ambulances and more staff to respond to the calls rather than the huge amounts of money spent on the many services and initiatives that have failed to reduce the call rate.
The nature of a target chasing style of (mis)management has lead to an organisation that has lost it's main focus and acts from a position of complete irrationality; the imposed, ridiculous Government targets notwithstanding.
