Hi Tom,
The original NaNoWriMo schedule was punishing - I don't see how anyone with an ordinary life can fit it in. Great if you're a student who has nothing more in life than an eleven o'clock lecture to worry about; nigh on impossible for everyone else. So I don't see the point of punishing yourself on that score, SAD or no SAD. Plus, this is well worth reading.
