The nearest anyone gets to dealing with the problem is to organise bike rides to highlight and raise awareness of the problem. Totally ineffective as those who get drunk and already aware of what will happen to them, they're just ignoring it. Really it all comes down to them trying to prove they are worthy of being one of the herd What we need is one piece of legislation whereby drunks have to pay for the medical treatment they receive and have it docked from their income before they see it.
