Well said. At 17:00 yesterday (a Sunday for heaven's sake) the cad number hit 4000 for the day (ie since 00:01). Elderly people were doing involuntary "dancing on ice" all over the place. The ambulance manning on Sundays is usually bad compared to the rest of the week but yesterday was appalling. Managers could have been out and about manning ambulances, but that would have been far too easy.
