The sad thing is that the people who pay our wages (the tax payers) have no idea what we do. They assume, and fill out the questionnaires on the assumption, that we are an accident and emergency service. Instead we are all clock stoppers and statistical target reacher's. Who, rarely use some medical skills and can always be replaced with a newer cheaper version if we make too much fuss.
