Re: How To Blog And Not Lose Your Job
by
Emchi
I think I've been reasonably safe in not mentioning my work in my blog... I try not to, it's not that interesting, I think also the fact that I'm security cleared would cause a small problem. I'd rather comment on the dynamics of previous jobs than my current job. It's interesting, and I've had some very funny moments / heard some funny things, but I'd have to say them totally out of context to the situation.
The problem I have is with talking about my personal life, I've wanted to as I've always seen my blog as a release of steam so to speak, but in the last few months when I've really wanted to get things off my chest, I couldn't because I knew friends who read the blog and it would have offended them, part of me thinks, well it's my life and my website, but the other part thinks, I have to live with the consequences if I open my mouth. Hard one to call.
