(OT. London is so dreary in winter. God, yes. The couple of winters I was there, I think the only thing that pulled me through was the once-a-month RHS garden shows in Vincent Square. You'd step through the door, the whole place lit up like sunlight, primulas and orchids and crocuses and everything. You could feel your mind just drinking it in.)
