That is an entirely other discussion - and it concerns issues like the 'windowing' of titles, and the fact that publishers have *no idea* what price will equal most profit. i.e. Publishers don't want cheap editions (ebooks) gouging their sales on hardbacks, because hardbacks are an important source of revenue. It's why they wait X months before releasing a hardback in a paperback format. I agree about Baen though and their pre-release copy. It's a great idea and shows that they aren't just trying to make ebooks the same as hardbacks.
