It really burns me that as an EMT-B in Maryland, check this out, WE CAN'T GIVE ASPIRIN FOR A HEART ATTACK. Aspirin. Now, granted, where I'm at, a medic's probably another two, three minutes out, but things go wrong, people show up at the wrong address, etc., and you feel like such a tool....I think it'd be even worse in more rural areas of the state. What am I going to do, give somebody Reye's Syndrome? Grr.
