I dislike pigeons and rodents for the same reasons you like them. How is it possible not to hate something with a brain the size of a pea that still manages to outsmart most humans, though admitedly like most scavengers they do serve a purpose in an urban environment (how much decomposing food would we be wading in if the blighters were not around to eat it).
