With all the different A&E departments I've worked in, we've never worried about full moons. (read as - your sister is telling porky pies). And in my experience the phase of the moon has little to do with patient number/disposition (and this is backed by a number of scientific studies). What does make a difference is the weather...hmmm...I think that'll be tomorrow's post as it is especially relevant considering yesterday's weather around here.
