Jeez man, thats awful! I've been a student again for the past year (I'm converting from adult to paed's...apparently they are put together differently or something) and I've been astonished by the attitudes of some toward students. I dont think you notice it first time round, because that's all your used to. For example- Identifying a pneumo on a chest film and being told by a house officer to be quiet unless I have something helpful to say. I could go on but...meh. There is a system in the NHS but it mainly consist's of knowing where you are in the pecking order and not straying from it.
