Well. Most self harmers I come across don't need stitches (which is perhaps a bit of a trite reply, sorry it's not meant to be), so I don't think it'll be hours, no more than any injury. the thing about self harmers is that they go to hospital, not because of their wounds, but because of the need for a psychiatric assessment. So I suspect that self harmers will still be taken to hospitals (if only because I don't have much faith in CPN services).
