Probably won't make you feel any better but one of my friends who is a school nurse puts up with a huge amount of crap for not calling ambulances when they are clearly not needed. Her latest was parents having a go at her on the phone and then in person the next day for not calling an ambulance for their daughter's broken wrist (for the record, it was going home time and mum was already at the gate waiting to pick up the precious teen).
